I just wanted to post some information on an upcoming storytelling event being organized by one of our own, Robert:

Ways You can help:
1) Sign up to be a featured storyteller. At the moment, there are three confirmed storytellers. I’m looking for about 8 or 9. Think about it, give me an email or a call (home: 832-251-7522).
2) If you know of any talented storytellers, forward this to them and encourage them to take part.
3) Looking for volunteers at the day of performance. Nothing really hard, just moving chairs, rearranging furniture, chaperoning, concessions (maybe), etc. Christine of Bigpinkcookie already volunteered to take pictures (Thanks!).

In addition to having “featured storytellers”, about
40-50% of the time will be open mike, allowing anyone to come up and tell an anecdote or story. Generally featured storytellers have 10 minutes; open mike people have 5 minutes.
