Help blog about Houston!!
Metroblogging.com is a new blog site described as “event listings to general rants, photos to reviews - metblogs are a hyper-local look at what’s going on in the city. A group of regional bloggers give each site a new perspective on daily life.” Basically it’s a blog with multiple authors writing about their city.
The site administrator has sounded the call for Houston bloggers. “We put up cities on a first come first serve basis, so as soon as we get enough bloggers for a city, we make it live. When a city has several authors already, but not enough to be live then it’s listed as “soon”, otherwise it’s not listed and people can apply for it by choosing “other” from the menu.” Very few people from Houston have signed up. If you are interested in joining please surf over to http://metroblogging.com and sign up.
A few of us have already signed up but we won’t get a chance to participate if there aren’t enough participants form Houston so please go check it out! We are eager to start blogging about Houston and hope you are too!
