Welcome to H-Town Blogs!!

Attention all bloggers in the Houston/Galveston area - if you aren’t a member and would like to be added to the list, please e-mail either me or E.J. We will be the main administrators - please feel free to visit our blogs listed on the right.

This page came about after seeing the success of the DFW Blogs. They have created a great site and a great community and I think we can do the same. I mentioned the thought of starting up something over drinks while out with a couple of area bloggers and - voila!

For now, the site is very basic. This page will be where updates and announcements will be posted. As members increase and interest grows, we will be expanding the site to include more changes including but not limited to:
* “H-Town Blogs” buttons that you can use to link back to us.
* “H-Town Blogs” Web-ring.
* Addition of local internet resources.
(i.e. news, weather, sports info, entertainment guides)
* Planned social activities in the Houston area.
(some of us do get out, right?)
* Featured Houston Blog-of-the-Month.
* Overall site redesign with custom graphics.

Of course, your suggestions are always welcome! Tell us what you want to see.
